Funding

We are an Independent Lifeboat. This means whilst we have to maintain the same standards, have the same training and equipment as others, we did not have national tv campaigns  and thousands of fund raisers, at our disposal. All funds are raised by the crew, with the generous support of the public, local business and authorities. Our aim is to raise £50,000 per annum to maintain and future proof the service.
