At the start of March, we had our second shout of the year, a multi-agency incident at Sea Palling. The crew was paged at 11:50 PM, launching both the Inshore Lifeboat and Cannon Portal. The winter months are generally quieter at the lifeboat station which allows us to carry out our annual maintenance checks. The crew continue to train both at sea and in the classroom, including brushing up in their chartwork and navigational skills. Being an independent lifeboat station, means we have to raise our own funds so

Happy New Year to you all! Where did 2024 go? It only seems like yesterday we were starting the winter maintenance run for 2024! Last year was a steady year for Sea Palling Independent Lifeboat. Our first shout came in March assisting Bacton Coastguard Rescue Team and Happisburgh Lifeboat, it then went quiet until mid-summer

Remembrance Day 2023
The crew attended the Remembrance Day Service at St Margaret’s, our local church in Sea Palling, with some of the crew participating in the proceedings. It was an honour for our crew to be able to commemorate those who lost their lives in the line of duty. We will remember them.
