The winter months are generally quieter at the lifeboat station which allows us to carry out our annual maintenance checks. The crew continue to train both at sea and in the classroom, including brushing up in their chartwork and navigational skills. The crew attended the Remembrance Day Service at St Margaret’s, our local church in Sea Palling, with some of the crew participating in the proceedings. It was an honour for our crew to be able to commemorate those who lost their lives in the line of duty. We will remember them.
