Signing Off Summer 2025 – Lifeboat Day
As we look back on a fantastic summer, Lifeboat Day 2025 has given our volunteer crew some truly special memories.
The weather couldn’t have been better, and the day was filled with friends, families, and loyal supporters. We thank each and every one of you for being there.
A highlight, as always, was the East Anglian Working Newfoundlands. These incredible dogs never fail to draw a crowd, and it’s inspiring to watch them doing what they love most.
The day concluded with a reminder of why we do what we do. As things were winding down, a member of the public alerted us to a swimmer caught dangerously in a rip current. Our ILB was launched immediately, and the swimmer was quickly brought safely back to shore.
For all involved, it was a powerful reminder of the importance of our training. Every hour of time, dedication, and commitment was made worthwhile in that single moment.
From all of us — thank you for your ongoing support. We love what we do, but we couldn’t do it without you.
Here’s to the end of Summer 2025.
