Happy New Year to you all!
Where did 2024 go? It only seems like yesterday we were starting the winter maintenance run for 2024!
Last year was a steady year for Sea Palling Independent Lifeboat. Our first shout came in March assisting Bacton Coastguard Rescue Team and Happisburgh Lifeboat, it then went quiet until mid-summer when over a three week period they came in thick and fast. Not that it makes much difference for the crew who are constantly on standby ready to go.
We had no major breakages or mechanical problems and have further developed the stations potential with the addition of two new storage containers and hopefully by the time you are reading this, the works will be completed and we will have a back-up launch vehicle for the main lifeboat.
The fundraising team have been busy this year out and about at various events and they look forward to seeing you at the merchandise stall on the beach most Sundays during the summer.
As always, we would like to thank all our supporters and anyone that has purchased items of merchandise from us, as without your support we cannot operate.
