SEA PALLING VILLAGE & BEACH

carousel-image-location

Sea Palling is a coastal village which boasts a very distinctive Blue Flag beach. Our station is perfectly located on the dunes at the top of the boat ramp overlooking the beach.

The beach features nine man-made reefs to protect this stretch of coastline from erosion. In turn this has formed distinctive horse shoe bays fringed by light sand, making it an ideal location for water sports enthusiasts, swimmers, dog walkers and families alike. During the months of May to September the beach is manned by Lifeguards who allocate a safe swimming area marked by flags. Please always swim between these flags and observe any warnings which they may post about the sea conditions.

With direct access onto the boat ramp we are able to quickly access the beach for launching our rescue boats. The reefs provide much needed shelter from the North Sea allowing us options for the safe launch and recovery of our rescue boats all year round.

Sea Palling village has a great selection of local businesses including pub, cafes, fish and chips, amusements, local store and a water sports centre. Public facilities include toilets, disabled toilet, baby changing and shower all open year round during day light hours. There is ample pay and display parking.

SAFETY INFORMATION : SEA PALLING BEACH

We strongly urge visitors to the beach not to climb the rock reefs, try to swim out to them or swim nearby to them. The rocks are incredibly slippery and have large crevasses which an adult, child or dog could easily fall into. There is also fast moving water in these areas and across the sand spits so please do not enter the water in or around here as the fast flowing water is directed out to sea and can be powerful. Always swim in the designated area.
